A child's first flight, on us. Since 1992, EAA's Young Eagles program has given more than 2 million young people their first free flight in a small aircraft — and Chapter 1698 proudly carries that tradition to the kids of our community.
Every Young Eagles flight is completely free, flown by experienced volunteer pilots who love sharing the joy of flight.
A flight takes about 15–20 minutes, with a volunteer pilot and a parent's or guardian's permission. It's the kind of experience that sparks a lifelong love of aviation.
Bring them to a Young Eagles event. It's open to children ages 8 to 17, and there's no cost — just a permission form signed by a parent or guardian on the day.
Open to kids and teens. A parent or guardian signs a permission form before the flight.
A short flight with a volunteer pilot — often a young flyer's very first time off the ground.
There's never a charge. Young Eagles is EAA's gift to the next generation of aviators.
